Reviews and Ratings
My overall experience at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, despite being a superior one, had issues with the TV signal and maintenance issues like the radiator heating constantly despite being off. The location above the main entrance meant dealing with cigarette smoke smell. On the bright side, the room itself was nice, comfortable, and had all the expected amenities.
The Long Meadow Suite was a comfortable stay with a spacious four-poster bed, but cleanliness could have been better. The location was convenient for outdoor activities and work, but certain neglect was noticeable around the hotel. The service provided by the staff was friendly and helpful. Dining was described as ordinary, and certain facilities showed room for improvement.
The hotel's rooms were spacious and had a luxurious 4 poster bed and a jacuzzi bath, which made the £120 value well worth it. Unfortunately, the cleanliness didn't meet my expectations, and the noise from an adjoining room was quite disturbing at times. The service was exceptional, with thoughtful gestures for our anniversary, but there were missed opportunities for apologies and solutions. The location was stunning, perfect for nature walks and a warm welcome from the locals. Dining offered good food but lacked attention to cooking detail. Overall, a mixed experience with memorable highlights and room for improvement.
